Afghanistan

Overview

Afghanistan. Dates to be announced soon

Lands beyond imagination! That’s pretty much how I would describe Afghanistan. A country that is so rich in stories and legends awaits to be discovered!

Highlights to be visited

Kabul. Afghanistan’s capital will surprise you right from the start with the stunning mosques and shrines! Babur’s Garden, tranquility in the heart of the chaotic city! We will explore the bazaars and as well as the most important viewing points where we can witness the entire city!

Mazar e Sharif. The holy city hosts probably one of the most significant mosques in the country, the Blue Mosque! During our stay we will also visit the famous ancient city of Balkh, which Marco Polo described as a very noble city back in the day!

Bamyan. Home of the Giant Buddhas which unfortunately have been destroyed, but even so, Bamyan offers one of the best landscapes in the country of Afghanistan. The cherry on top will be our visit to the Band e Amir turquoise lakes, which will definitely mesmerize you right from the start. The road towards the lakes is just as spectacular

Herat. The Unesco world heritage city of Herat is probably best known for its citadel that dates from way back in the day when Alexander the Great conquered these lands. The city is also home to some stunning mosques but it also offers a different vibe compared to the rest of the country. You will have to see it for yourself to understand
