Overview
A fantastic trip in Western Africa in order to experience some of the most outstanding cultural dances and as well as stunning landscapes. The journey will start in Cameroon in order to witness the unique festivities that the country has to offer, then we will continue to Ivory Coast for more fantastic festivities, from the impossible Zaouli dance to the Dan performances.
Cameroon highlights:
The traditional chiefdom of Bandjoun with its large hut, a true masterpiece of traditional architecture.
Bafoussam Chiefdom’s festival square to watch the grand parade of the initiates.
Foumban to watch the grand carnival parade dedicated to the Bamoun women
Baleng chiefdom to watch the grand closing parade of the initiates
Nguon Festival, featuring the King’s Judgement Ceremony, performances of traditional dances and other cultural rituals
